Consultation on draft of Crown Minerals (Petroleum) Amendment Regulations 2022

Give your feedback on the proposed Crown Minerals (Petroleum) Amendment Regulations 2022. Consultation is open now and closes at 5pm on Monday 4 July.
These regulations support the Crown Minerals (Decommissioning and Other Matters) Amendment Act 2021 (the Act).
The Act, which passed into law recently, introduced changes to reduce the risk to the Crown and other third parties of having to carry out and fund the decommissioning of petroleum infrastructure. The proposed regulations aim to operationalise these changes by detailing what information will be required and when.
